At YouChoose Pets and Livestock Australia, we believe in giving back to the clubs, associations, and not-for-profits that support the breeders and animal owners of Australia. That’s why we’ve created the YouChoose Club Benefit Program – a simple way for clubs to earn donations from their members and supporters, just by being part of our community.

When users make a transaction through our secure payment gateway in the YouChoose app, their nominated club or association will receive a portion of our profit as a donation. This is our way to ensure the animal clubs of Australia can stay focused on what they do best.

We built an optional secure payment system for our classifieds portion of the app. Users can choose to use this or not. If they choose to use the gateway they will have access to RapidID, invoicing system, secure payments and a portion of the fees get donated to their nominated club. The seller pays nothing, and the buyer has the fees included in their payment price.

Any animal related club, association or organisation including breeding clubs, animal sports clubs, rescue shelters etc. The club or association must register through our application form and remain eligible to receive contributions.

To be eligible, a club or association must:
Have a governing document or stated objectives that align with animal-related purposes, including but not limited to, animal welfare, breeding, care, rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, education, conservation, exhibition, competition or recreation.

Be a not-for-profit entity, whether incorporated or unincorporated and if applicable, registered with either federal or State based authorities (for example ASIC, ACNC or the relevant Office of Fair Trading).

Each user may only select 1 club or organisation. Their selected club or organisation will receive 20% of YouChoose’s revenue from each sale made through the payment gateway. See breakdown below.

Transaction fees vary according to the value of the sale and range from 2.5% to 10%. These examples provide an estimate of what your club could receive:

Transaction Fee (6%) = $6
Bank Fee = $2.05
YCP Revenue = $3.95
Club Donation (20%) = $0.79

Transaction Fee (3.5%) = $35
Bank Fee = $17.80
YCP Revenue = $17.20

Transaction Fee (2.5%) = $125

If your club or association would like to take part in the YouChoose Club Benefit Program, please submit the application request form below. Alternatively, you can email us to request the application at: support@youchooseapp.com.au

We will then send you the YouChoose Club Benefit Program application form through our electronic signature program, requesting additional information to assess your eligibility.

Acceptance into the program is at the sole discretion of the Operator, and registering with us provides no immediate entitlement or expectation of funding, donations or reward. This is subject to the discretion of Us and our Members.

We will reconcile and process contributions on a quarterly basis, based on 20% of the fees (excluding GST) received from Members who nominate your club, and will then provide a summary and request a tax invoice prior to issuing payment, which will be made within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

Following acceptance of registration, eligible clubs and associations will be listed on our website and app, and by registering, you grant permission for us to use your club’s name and logo in marketing material, promotions, on our social media accounts, website or similar in connection with promoting the Club Benefit Program and our Platform.

The Club or Association may use our logo and/or branding only for purposes consistent with promoting the benefits it receives from Us and to promote its objectives and to this end, the Club or Association is provided with a non-exclusive, revocable licence to utilise these parts of our intellectual property for this purpose and no other purpose.

The Club or Association must not transmit, publish or communicate any material or engage in any conduct which is offensive, defamatory, abusive, menacing or harassing or which is in any way derogatory, disparaging or offensive to, the Operator.

The Club or Association’s registration, and the right to use limited parts of our intellectual property as noted above, can be revoked by Us at any time, without cause.

The Club Benefit Program does not amount to a partnership, agency, joint venture or other arrangement between the parties.
